Pickup a call
This function allows you to intercept an incoming call to another user.
There are two types of call interception: by the number of subscriber or the group number.
Interception of a call by subscriber's number
To pickup an incoming call to the certain user with the help of interface, you just have to right-click on this user and select the item "Pickup call".
To pickup a call using the service code you need to know the extension number of the user, who receives this call. During incoming call dial the service No *8Х, where Х is the extension number of user who receives the call.
Pattern *8 is the default code. You can change it in the section Service codes.
Interception of a call by the group number.
You don't need to know the extension number of the user with this type of interception.
For example, there are 10 workplaces in the office and all of them are in one group. There are only 2 employees. When an incoming call is addressed to the one of absent employees you just need to call the service code * 6 and the call will be transferred to you. In case an incoming call is addressed to the subscriber from another group, you need to call to the service number *6Х, where Х is the group number.
Pattern *6 is the default code. You can change it in the section Service codes. The group number is configured in the Groups section.
To make a call pickup, this option must be activated in the Group settings, in the Features access section.
