SIP/RTP
SIP settings
This section is available in the admin interface in case of using single company or in the multi admin interface in case of multi company.
Interfaces - the network interfaces to be used
Port - Incomming SIP port
External port - Outgoing SIP port
TLS - A cryptographic protocol that provides secure data transmission. It provides the ability to communicate in the network in such a way as to prevent audition and unauthorized access.
TLS port - Incoming port listened for TLS connections
TLS External port - Outgoing port listened for TLS connections
Registry - a max timeout for registration
Session timer - Serves to break the session in case the exchange of keepalive messages is interrupted
Session timeout - Session timeout in seconds
Min session expires - Minimum session time
RTP settings
Port range - Port range for RTP transmission
Jitter - Jitter buffer. Temporary storage of packets to compensate for uneven packet arrival rate on the receiving side
Hold timeout - Time of inactivity in the RTP stream (silence) in seconds, for put on hold calls, before FreeSWITCH disconnects the call
Timeout - Time of inactivity in the RTP stream (silence) in seconds, before FreeSWITCH disconnects the call
VAD - (Voice Active Detected) – Voice activity detection technology
CNG - Generation of comfort noise when filling VAD-pauses between replicas
